Metropolitan Community College (MCC) is one of the nation's most historic community colleges. With five campuses serving students, MCC has a proud tradition of providing high-quality, affordable education to students in Greater Kansas City and beyond. This is MCC's general application for admission for students seeking college credit. - International applicants (in the U.S. on a VISA, nonimmigrants, undocumented or DACA) cannot use this form. Please follow the process for international students.
- There is no application fee for U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
- If you have taken a credit class at MCC anytime during the last year (after completing high school), you don’t need to reapply, even if you skipped a semester.
- Students who took MCC classes while in high school should reapply as first time attending college since high school.
- If you haven't searched for our scholarships and would like to, visit our scholarships web page and use our online scholarship search tool. You will receive a unique scholarship search results number that you can enter on this form. During processing, we will connect your scholarship application to your application for admission. You can also apply for scholarships later once you're admitted.
- If you cannot provide the required information or you prefer not to apply online, please download the paper application.
