Instructor Cindy Frerking taught Spanish at Blue Springs South High School for 25 Years. She has traveled to Mexico, Spain, Honduras and Argentina. These spanish classes are tailored for beginning level students who wish to learn Spanish for travel, work and just improving your memory. It will be a very interactive class. Hasta la vista.

This intensive eight week class will teach all aspects of American Sign Language. You will learn how to sign ALL numbers, how to finger spell using a method specifically designed to teach hearing adults, learn 10-15 signs per week and how to form those signs into sentences. We will also discuss aspects of deaf culture.

Instructor Mary McDermott has a degree in Sign Language Interpreter Training.

You've seen it on TV! Learn this exciting "wet-on-wet" painting technique taught by a certified instructor. Whether you've never painted before, or have painted for years, this class is for you. You can make beautiful pottery in this class with emphasis on the potter's wheel. A slab roller and extruder will also be used. High school students and adults will enjoy this class. This class is for ages 12 to adult. Get the hands-on experience of weaving your own shawl. You will design and make your own shawl using triangular looming. You need no background to do this except a desire to learn to weave. Class size is limited so enroll now to reserve your spot. Cost of the class includes yarn and the use of a loom. Bring snack/sack lunch, if you would like. Instructor Donna Fuller is an experienced weaver and does area exhibitions.
