Roles and responsibilities of the Chancellor Advisory Screening Committee

At its January 19 meeting, the Board of Trustees announced the members of the Chancellor Advisory Screening Committee. The primary role of the committee is to evaluate a slate of candidates presented by Spelman Johnson, select and interview semifinalist candidates, and deliver to the Board of Trustees an unranked list of three candidates who are well qualified to lead Metropolitan Community College as its next chancellor. The Board of Trustees has final responsibility and authority for the selection of finalists and the appointment of the new chancellor.
