If you are a Clay County Resident 60 years of age or older, you can use up to $30.00 per semester towards any community education class offered by our new partner Maple Woods Community Education.
Call Maple Woods Community Education Department at 816-604-3011, let them know you would like to take advantage of this scholarship. MW will need your address, age and a little more information to get you set-up and enrolled.
Instructors are paid from fees collected, so we must guarantee a minimum enrollment to hold a class. If it is necessary for you to withdraw from a class, please contact the Community Education office, 816/604-3011, at least five (5) business days prior to the class start date. You may 1) designate someone else to take your place, or 2) request a full refund – minus a $5.00 processing fee. No refund will be given for classes canceled less than 5 business days prior to the start of the class. Please note these refund exceptions: classes priced $20.00 or less and classes designated as “nonrefundable”.
