Do you enjoy drawing? Painting? If the answer is yes, then this class is for you! We will spend the week dabbling in
different art mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and even the art of paper folding origami! The week will end with our very own art exhibit!

Biz Kids
Kids have a natural interest in money and business. Entrepreneurship camp feeds this curiosity, while giving you hands-on experience in how money works
and how to use your money wisely. In this hands-on camp, you will discover the steps that entrepreneurs take to grow their ideas into a thriving business. You
will also learn how to develop a marketing plan, find out about your customers, research the competition and understand basic business finances.

Capturing Elusive Ideas: Creative Writing on the Fly
Young writers have so many characters, plots, stories, conflicts, feelings and ideas flowing through them, and all too
often, those ideas get away. This class will give young writers a chance to capture those wonderful words before they escape, as well as give you a chance to hone the
creative process you already use. Each session will include a variety of activities, including idea-generating exercises, “instant creativity” sessions, collaborative
workshops and instructor feedback. Students will need to bring pens and plenty of imagination to class!

Curtain's Up!
Have you always dreamed of performing on the stage? Come and learn the basics of stage performance, including
costuming, make-up and set design. Take part in a Reader’s Theatre. We will also write and perform a short play. The week will end with a short performance for family
and friends!

Play Dough Economics
What can a room full of kids do with a few cans of Play Dough, some play money, and a few cookie cutters? They can learn the principles of economics! In this hands-on
summer camp, we will create a society based on Play Dough. We will learn about starting and growing a business – and all the steps in between. From production to
opportunity, cost to trade, we will discover and apply the key economic concepts we use every day.

Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs
Do you want to run your own small business…be your own boss…have a great idea…make lots of money? These are the seeds of entrepreneurship. Using a curriculum developed specifically or youth, Tomorrow’s Entrepreneurs will allow you to bring your business idea to fruition while demonstrating that entrepreneurship is a career option throughout your lifetime. You’ll learn how to determine your customer base, conduct market research, analyze your competition, design an advertising campaign and understand basic business finances. At the end of the camp, you will create a presentation to sell your idea to local business people.
