Spring rental books must be returned to the campus they were purchased from by May 13 at 4 p.m.
Spring book buyback will be: Monday May 12 from 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.. Tuesday, May 13, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Bring all CDs, DVDs, and supplemental materials purchased with your textbooks during the textbook buyback period. The quality of books purchased during buyback must meet the standards established by the Bookstore management. The deadline to return Rental Textbooks is final day of Buyback.
Student textbook buyback is offered as a service to you and is conducted during finals week of a regular fall, spring, and summer semester.
Only books with current market value can be bought back, provided they are in good condition. You may receive up to 67% of the original purchase price. For books that will be used by one of the MCC campuses, the average buyback price is 50% of the new book price.
A wholesale book company may purchase books, for a reduced wholesale price, that are no longer needed by MCC, if they have current market value and are in good condition.
If you are unable to make it to our in-store buyback at the end of the semester, you can try to sell your books through the MBS Textbook Exchange website. The MCC-Bookstores do not provide support for the MBS Buyback website.
