Counseling Services

College is exciting and stimulating, but it can also be confusing and stressful. Classes, tests, work, family, friends and career decisions place new demands on your skills, time and energy. Counselors can help you to maximize your academic potential and achieve personal success!

Counselors are faculty members who hold a Master's degree in counseling. We can offer you an objective and confidential ear to help you to explore your academic and personal concerns. Contact a Counseling Services office to make an appointment.

We are available to meet with you to discuss success strategies, study tips, or plans for the future. We can also help you clarify your goals and priorities so you can effectively manage your many responsibilities as a college student. All services are FREE to MCC students!

(Counselors are different from Academic Advisors. Advisors provide information on degree plans and the classes you need to take to earn a degree as well as how to develop enrollment strategies and ways to ensure that your MCC classes will transfer to other institutions.)
