Festival Overview

The 2011 MCC-Longview Literary Festival will be held on October 14 & 15th at the Mel Aytes Education Center. This fourth annual event will feature readings, panel discussions and writing workshops as well book sales and autographs. We have lined up a wonderful guest list including authors Lewis Diuguid, Alan Spencer, Steven F. Murphy, M.C. Chambers, Lindsay Martin-Bowen, Carl Rhoden, Marti Verlander and many others.

A number of groups including the Dead Horse Society, the Kansas City Science Fiction and Fantasy Society and Summit Scribes will also be there. Our guest list is constantly growing. The festival runs from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily and is free-of-charge for all attendees. For more information contact Susan Satterfield at Susan.Satterfield@mcckc.edu.
