Mission: The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment provides the highest quality data and analyses to facilitate and enhance assessment, policy development and decision making aimed at improving the educational experience of Metropolitan Community College students.  Additionally, we submit data to external agencies to maintain Metropolitan Community College’s federal, state and accreditation compliance.

Vision: The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment responds to the information and analytical needs of Metropolitan Community College by applying and advancing the standards of Institutional Research for continuous educational improvement.

Established to provide technical assistance to administrators, faculty and staff of Metropolitan Community College, the office of Institutional Research and Assessment assists district personnel by performing:

  • methodological design and issues
  • database development for research studies
  • student tracking
  • needs assessment
  • evaluation design
  • observational studies
  • quantitative and qualitative analysis and reporting
