Career Exploration Session A (BTC)

Meet Instructors. Tour labs and classrooms. Learn about the career field. Find out how to get started college. Lean when and how to apply for Financial Aid. Academic advisors, financial aid advisors, and instructors will be available to help answer questions.

Monarch Day (MW)

Monarch Days are career/interest specific campus experiences geared around Education, Math, Physics/Engineering, Biology/Environmental Studies, Theatre, Art, Music, Business, and Veterinary Technology. On your Monarch Day, you will visit with admissions and tour the campus, meet the faculty of that department, and either sit in on a class or have a special tour of the program facilities. This is a great way to get in-depth information about these specific interest areas while becoming familiar with campus.

For the Veterinary Technology Program, please meet at the Veterinary Technology building located south of the main campus. For all other Monarch Day Programs, please meet in the Administrative Bldg Rm 102.

Upon registration one of our Admissions Team members will be in contact with you to confirm your special Monarch Day visit.

MCC-Penn Valley

Health Science Institute (HSI) Visit (PV)

When you tour the Health Science Institute (HSI) you will see simulated, experiential learning taking place in a variety of healthcare careers. An ambulance bay in the emergency medicine program, two operating rooms, a virtual hospital, and a dental suite, to name a few. Come take a walking tour of the state-of-the-art facility at 3444 Broadway. (tour approx. 30 minutes)

Directions: The entrance is on the 34th Terrace side. Turn west off Broadway onto 34th Terrace or 35th Street. Park in visitor parking located at the end of each block and at the back of the building; you can also park along Broadway or 35th Street. Wait at the security desk located just inside the building entrance in the Atrium for your tour guide. Tours start promptly. If you are late for the tour please register for a different date. Parking in the Missouri Gas Energy lot north of the HSI entrance, or any other unauthorized area, will result in immediate towing at the owner's expense.
