Fire Science Academy & Police Science Academy Visit Day

The Fire Science and Police Science Academies Visit Day is a career specific campus experience geared around the Public Safety Institute, also known as the PSI. During your visit, you will meet faculty from the PSI and tour the facility. This is a great way to get in-depth information about the fire science and police science programs while becoming familiar with campus. Campus Visit

A campus visit is an interactive opportunity for you to get your questions answered, learn more about MCC degree programs, and the resources available to assist you in becoming an MCC student. This small group session is designed for prospective students who have not yet applied to the college. Please note: Enrollment in classes does not take place during this appointment although you will have an opportunity to complete an MCC application.

Meet Instructors. Tour labs and classrooms. Learn about 30+ Gold Collar Job fields. Complete the MCC application and lean how and when to apply for financial aid. Gold Collar Jobs have 10%+ projected job growth, pay $30-70k/yr, and require an associate degree or less for entry. Discover MCC-Longview Automotive Visit Day is a career specific campus experience geared around Automotive Technology. During your visit, you will meet faculty from the Automotive Technology department and tour the program facility. This is a great way to get in-depth information about the area while becoming familiar with campus. Please meet at the High Technology building located at the south end of the main campus.

Dual Enrollment Info Session

Dual enrollment is a way for currently enrolled high school students to get a jump-start on their college coursework by taking classes on a college campus. Credits earned may count for both college credit AND high school credit toward their diploma. This information session will provide essential information about the dual enrollment process and the opportunity to enroll in classes. To be eligible to enroll the day of the session: 1.) Apply for admission to MCC at www.mcckc.edu/apply and 2.) Provide ACT and/or COMPASS test scores to the LV Admissions Office.

FAFSA Completion Event

Paying for college can be a major obstacle. Applying for financial aid begins with filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Bring your 2015 W-2 forms and copies of your forms. Drop in assistance available between the hours of 3pm-6pm

During your visit, you will meet with Admissions, tour campus, meet the faculty of the Vet Tech department, and tour the program facility.
