Working Wednesday

Each campus hosts free recruiting/networking events known as Working Wednesdays (we rotate campuses each Wednesday). During these events, employers are invited on-campus to recruit students. We provide the space and tables and encourage employers to bring their own table set up, handouts and anything else they wish to provide to students. We will have the tables set up during a time and space when there is typically high student traffic.

How should you use your time?

  1. Recruit for any open positions
  2. Work to build relationships for future employment needs
  3. Talk with students about possible job shadow or internship opportunities

If you are interested in one of these tables at a specific campus, please register via Handshake or contact us via phone or email.

Flyers

If you have flyers advertising open positions please email them to career.services@mcckc.edu or stop by a career services office with printed copies. The flyers will be posted to the multiple job boards located throughout the campus(es).

Career Central/Handshake

We have an online platform for job postings called Career Central (powered by Handshake). This portal offers a streamlined experience to both employers and students and will allow you to find the best candidates for your jobs and internships. It will also connect with our career services offices and others across the country.

If you already have an account set up with Handshake, look for Metropolitan Community College in the schools list and add us to your community.
