Blue River Campus Visit with Public Safety Institute
We are excited to have you visit our Public Safety Institute! First, you will meet with Admissions and discuss the steps to getting started at MCC and take a tour of our campus. During your visit, you with also meet a member of our Public Safety Institute team and learn about the Fire Academy, Police Academy, and the EMT/Paramedic programs that are housed there. This is a great way to get information about the programs, their application process, and ask questions. This visit is scheduled at the MCC- Blue River Campus located at 20301 East 78 Highway, Independence, MO 64057 Please note: Enrollment in classes does not take place during this appointment.
Blue River East Campus Visit - Lineman Program
We are excited to have you visit our Lineman program! During your visit you will be able to see current lineman students in action! Additionally, you will meet with someone from the Lineman team who will give you a tour of the location, discuss the lineman program and opportunities, and answer program questions. This visit is located at our MCC â?? Blue River East Campus located at 21227 MO-78, Independence, MO 64057. Please note: Enrollment in classes does not take place during this appointment.

Longview Campus Visit
Classic Campus Visit: Experience campus life at MCC-Longview. First, you will visit with an admissions representative to learn about financial aid, MCC Academic and Career programs, and discuss the next steps to becoming an MCC student. Then you will tour our main campus facilities and learn about important resources available to MCC students. (Visit time 2 hours)
Longview Campus Visit with Automotive Tour
Experience campus life at MCC-Longview. First, you will visit with an admissions representative to learn about financial aid, MCC Academic and Career programs, and discuss the next steps to becoming an MCC student. Then you will tour our main campus facilities and learn about important resources available to MCC students. During your visit, you will meet faculty from the Automotive Technology department and tour the program facility. This is a great way to get in-depth information about the area while becoming familiar with campus. (Visit time 2.5-3 Hours)
Longview Campus Visit with Theater Tour
Experience campus life at MCC-Longview. First, you will visit with an admissions representative to learn about financial aid, MCC Academic and Career programs, and discuss the next steps to becoming an MCC student. Then you will tour our main campus facilities and learn about important resources available to MCC students. During your visit, you will learn about Theater Arts disciplines including film acting, television acting, stage acting, voice acting, production, communications, and more. You will visit the Cultural Arts Center (CAC), which is the home of our Black Box Theater. (Visit time 2.5-3 Hours)
Maple Woods (Clay, Platte, Buchanan, Clinton, Caldwell, Ray counties)
Campus Visit
Discover MCC-Maple Woods and experience campus life as you tour the campus and visit with an admissions representative. You will learn about financial aid, programs available, and discuss how to become a student! Please note: Enrollment in classes does not take place during this appointment.
Campus Visit Veterinary Technology
Discover MCC Veterinary Technology through a career specific campus experience. During your visit, you will meet with Admissions, tour the program facility, and meet the faculty of the Veterinary Technology department. This is a great way to get in-depth information about our Vet Tech Program. Please meet at the Veterinary Technology building located south of the main campus. A campus visit is an interactive opportunity for you to ask questions and learn about MCC degree programs, and the resources available to assist you in becoming an MCC student. This small group session is designed for prospective students who have not yet applied to the college. On Campus - Campus Visit (Health Science Institute)
MCC's state-of-the-art Health Science Institute (HSI) is a unique learning facility. True-to-life simulation stations in this 190,000 sq. ft. building takes hands-on learning opportunities, clinical skill practice and patient care teamwork to the next level. Come take a walking tour at 3444 Broadway. (Tour approx. 1 hour). Programs Allied Health Programs • Coding Specialist • Dental Assistant • Health Information Management • Occupational Therapy Assistant • Physical Therapist Assistant • Radiologic Technologist • Surgical Technologist Nursing Programs • Practical Nursing (LPN) • LPN Bridge Program • Professional Nursing (RN) Directions: The entrance is on the 34th Terrace side. Turn west off Broadway onto 34th Terrace or 35th Street. Park in visitor parking located at the end of each block and the back of the building; you can also park along Broadway or 35th Street. Wait at the security desk located just inside the building entrance in the lobby for your tour guide. Tours start promptly. If you are late for the tour, please register for a different date. The Advanced Technical Skills Institute visit allows you to explore the variety of Applied Technology and Manufacturing careers. This facility located at 2944 Troost is home to Metropolitan Community College's building maintenance and construction, computer-integrated machining, HVAC, industrial technology and welding programs. Whether it is the technicians who keep our homes cool, the mechanics who keep our cars on the road, or the technicians that keep our factories and critical infrastructure running; we depend on professional technicians who have mastered the skills of their trade. At Metropolitan Community College, students in the Applied Technology & Manufacturing Pathway receive practical, hands-on training from instructors with real-world experience in state-of-the-art labs. You'll develop the skills you need for high-demand, high-paying careers in our region.
