Early Childhood Education and Development

ECED 254 - Teaching Methods & Interactions for Learning in ECE (2 credits)

Prerequisites: ECED 113 with a grade of C or higher, and concurrent enrollment in ECED 255. This course is focused on identifying and implementing developmentally appropriate and effective teaching methods and strategies. Intentional teaching and creating powerful interactions for learning will be emphasized. This course is aligned to level II of the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Professional Standards and Competencies for Early Childhood Educators.
