Metropolitan Community College commencement takes place at 1 and 6 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence.
He will succeed Kathrine Swanson, who is retiring from the College. Crider, a Missouri native, joined MCC in 2018 as dean of instruction at Longview.
