English As A Second Language

ESL 17 - Novice II: Reading and Vocabulary (3 credits)

Prerequisite: ESL 3 or appropriate ESL placement test score. The study and practice of reading English vocabulary and short narratives in instructional context. Vocabulary is limited to life-skill areas.
