MCC email usage policy
Student email is intended for use while a student is actively enrolled at MCC and
is subject to deletion at a period of one year past the last enrollment activity.
If a student reenrolls after one year has passed, their email account will be reestablished
but will not contain any contents from past use.
It is not recommended to use MCC student email for personal communications outside
of academic purposes.
Commencement 2026 Ceremonies
Metropolitan Community College’s Class of 2026 received fond sendoffs at commencement May 21, with two ceremonies at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence.
The 6 p.m. program drew more than 630 graduates and 5,200 guests, while the earlier 1 p.m. ceremony hosted 340 grads and about 3,100 family members and friends.
In all, 1,877 MCC students were candidates for graduation, earning 2,022 credentials: associate degrees and certificates.
