Veterinary Technology

Since 1973, MCC has been providing quality education at an affordable price for the veterinary profession and animal health industry.

Our students have a passion to work with animals as a valued member of a veterinary team. If you would like a career working with animals, we offer veterinary technician, veterinary assistant, and veterinary receptionist classes at our MCC-Maple Woods campus, pre-veterinary prerequisites at all MCC campuses, and practice management courses at all MCC campuses and online.

Adopt a Pet program

The MCC veterinary technology program receives dogs and cats from regional animal shelters each semester.

The program veterinary medical team and the veterinary technician students work throughout the semester to ensure the dogs and cats are healthy, socialized and ready for a loving family to adopt them.
